Alma Mater works with teenagers developing creative and fun ideas that will allow them to learn new skills and face new challenges during the school holidays. By actively planning these experiences, candidates start engaging naturally in building their own CV.
After getting to know the candidate, we select the most suitable programs and courses that match our client’s requests. Activities are chosen from trusted and regularly reviewed programs all over the world and include Pre College courses in the US, UK and Europe at leading institutions, specialized summer camps in the performing arts and sports, SAT prep courses, college credit programs as well as highly selective math and science opportunities.
Alma Mater aims to plan candidates’ school holidays 2 – 3 years ahead of graduation, to have a complete game plan in place when building their CVs for college admission. Candidates are also encouraged to find internships and summer jobs where possible in their chosen fields as well as actively participate in community service programs.
Many students have decided they want to take a Gap year in between high school and university. At Alma Mater, we work with candidates to plan unique Gap year experiences – work, academic or travel related to ensure a fulfilling year before entering university.
